Hearing instrument ordering and delivery

The original ear impressions for your hearing instruments arrive at NU-EAR, carefully packaged to prevent damage to the delicate molds. NU-EAR’s qualified design technician enters the audiometric data into the “Expert Design System” software. The Expert Design System matches the audiometric data with over 300,000 proven successful fitting prescriptions.

This matching process determines the most effective circuit design requirements for your hearing instruments. The custom ear impressions are forwarded to our shell lab to construct the hearing instruments’ casing. Each instrument is assigned a unique bar code for order tracking and order expediting. The bar code is embedded with specific data detailing the instructions for building the hearing aid.

When your hearing instruments are ordered, it may take no more than 5 – 10 days for their delivery. You will be asked to schedule an hour appointment for the fitting process.
