The Audiometric Impressions

To measure the acoustic contours of your ear canal the NU-EAR professional may make ear impressions from a soft and pliable silicone material.

The original ear impressions are placed into a container and Duplicoloid material is poured over into the container forming an investment around the ear impressions. The Duplicoloid material has such an exact duplicating quality that it will accurately replicate the precision of fingerprint, when applied to the top of the finger. The investment is used in creating the make- receptor for the shell casing.
