NU-EAR Electronics was founded in 1978 by two entrepreneurial businessmen who previously spent many years in the retail side of the industry. They placed a high value on training and support to the early network of
NU-EAR authorized professionals. Ten years later, they realized than an acquisition was the best opportunity to continue their goal of developing state-of-the-art hearing technologies. In 1989, NU-EAR was purchased by Starkey Laboratories, one of the world’s largest manufacturer of hearing instruments.
